Talkie uses the bluetooth in your phone or computer to connect to others in the area. Bluetooth has a range of roughly 220ft, so in small areas like events, with groups of friends, or if you're out in the middle of nowhere, Talkie can be the hidden and encrypted network you need to communicate. 

Currently works best with 1 v 1 Chatting. More than 2 users has yet to be tested.
